History
Starting when the town was originally settled in 1815, the Woodville Historic Museum houses original documents, pictures, and memorable of its earlier settlers in order to let everyone see what 'Old Woodville' was like. Originally, the building the museum is in was a mercantile built in 1909 for Mr. J.R. Kennamer's business, but before the late Congressman Robert E. Jones retired, he purchased the building and later donated it to the town to be used as a community center. From there, the Bob Jones Community Center was established and then renovated to its current state in order for the building to also house the museum.
