The Woodville Town Hall offers its citizens guidance on several matters and offers services, such as renting out the Bob Jones Community Center, Methodist Chapel, and Woodville Park Pavilion as well as the opportunity to come and have documents notarized or to pay their sewer bills.

Melissa Chambers
Town Clerk

My name is Melissa Chambers, and I have been in local government for eight years, seven of which I have served as a municipal clerk.
I have my Master Municipal Clerk Certification (MMC), which I received from the University of Alabama in April of 2024.
​
I earned my Certified Government Accounting Certification (CGAT) in 2020, Alabama Municipal Revenue Certification (AMRO) in 2022, and my Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Certification in 2021 all from the University of Alabama.
​
I attended Athens State University, and I attended Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) and received my AAS in Business Management as well as Certification in Computer Information Systems in 2010.
​
I have served as Secretary and Vice-President of the Alabama Municipal Clerks' Association, President of Alabama Clerks District 12, and as a member of Sigma Kappa Delta (English Honor Society) since 2010.
​
I am a 1989 Woodville Alum, I have lived in the Woodville area for me entire life, and I am here to serve my community and hope to make it a better place.
