The Woodville Parks and Recreation Board exists to help maintain the Bob Jones Community Center, Methodist Chapel, Barbershop, and Woodville Town Park, while also hosting fundraisers and community events to bring the town together and ensure that Woodville is a great place to visit.

Meet the Parks and Recreation Board

Board President

My name is Beverly Cosby. I am the manager of the Woodville Dollar General and Woodville Public Library Board President.

The Town of Woodville has been my home since 1987, and I love the community here. I am excited to the be the Board President for the Woodville Parks and Recreation Board, and I am looking forward to seeing what kind of growth the board can help bring to Woodville in the years to come.

Secretary

My name is Alyssa Cosby, and I have been the Library Director since September of 2021. Currently, I attend the University of Kentucky (online) where I am studying for my Master in Library Science, but I received my Bachelor in Criminal Justice from American Public University System in 2019.

I am a Class of 2014 Woodville Alum, as well as an original senior and Founder of Panthers Always Living Strong (P.A.L.S.).

I have lived in Woodville for the majority of my life, and I am happy to be able to now serve on the Parks and Recreation Board and help Woodville continue to grow and offer more for its citizens.

My name is Savannah Taylor. I have been a resident of Woodville for most my life. I graduated from Woodville High School where I met my husband of thirteen years, Timon Taylor. We have three amazing kids, Jayse, Anniston and Oakley. I am the Woodville Public Library Board Vice President and I am excited to be part of the Woodville Parks and Recreation Board now
